Jason was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. GO RIDERS! He moved to Edmonton to be with his Dad in the early 80’s and attended Jasper Place High School. GO REBELS. In 1997, a few years after high school, Jason graduated from CHIT Broadcasting School in Drayton Valley. GO CHIT? His radio career has included stops in Rocky Mountain House, Manitoba and Edmonton. He is thrilled to be back at UP 99.3 and playing Edmonton’s Greatest Hits.

Jason is married and has 2 energetic boys; Lucas and Isaac. Lucas is a Junior Lifeguard and Isaac is a future NHL Draft Pick. Jason’s wife, Kara, is a teacher with Edmonton Public Schools. Jason LOVES the Oilers, Metallica, Lord of the Rings, the outdoors, live music, festivals, cooking and gardening. He plays on a rec league hockey team, GO KINGS, and sits on the board of his community league. He wears his heart on his sleeve and can often be heard singing in the hallways at up! 99.3.
